I'm still waiting on cam bearings (still need to find a tool too) and motor mounts. But, I have been productive on my guitar project and school crap. Oh, and yesterday I did more paint prep and swapped a 1978 tack and speedo into my 1981 cluster.

Is it clock near the RPM?

Yep

If the clock is running that would be awesome!
I always love a car that comes with a clock.

That's a funny looking compass.

My mom once had a VW Santana, it came with either RPM or a clock.
Yep, the whole left side was a clock and nothing else.

It's not a compass, it's a boost gauge! It adds like 4,000 hp

Saw an Daytona AC Cobra over the weekend that was all track prepped. Had a clock on the dash all the way to the right mixed in with a bunch of stuff. Next to it was written CLOCK in marker right on the sheet metal dash. Thought that was funny.

If you didn't spec your firebird high enough it was the same way, you didn't get a tach, you got a clock.

Then you would like a base model car with the clock taking up the Tach space :P

Ahahahahahah. Gotta love base models. Didn't know there were more like this.
Best thing about the VW was that the clock was very unreliable, we had to ajust it every 2 or 3 days, it skipped like 5~8 minutes every day. And it didn't even have a seconds hand.
